Description
Its 20 stories and 75 meters tall, it's also the world's tallest timber building, located in the town of Skelleftea in Northern Sweden. Designed both as a municipality center and a hotel, Sara culture house, which opened its doors in 2021 is at the forefront of a series of large scale constructions and big projects designed to be made from wood. Large forests provide a natural resource and a traditional knowledge of the material is pushing Swedish architects and actors of the building sector to lead the way to a a more "eco friendly" industry.
