The International Legion of Defence of Ukraine (LIDU), an official volunteer brigade, says three foreign soldiers held by pro-Russian separatists are facing the death penalty, and the British citizen among them should be considered a prisoner of war. The Legion's spokesperson also criticises French President Macron's stance on Ukraine, saying his suggestions mean "abandoning millions of Ukrainians to live under Russian occupation".
