Description
More and more youngsters in Canada, like 13-year-old Sofia-Rose Adams, work after school to help make up for a labour shortage. In Canada's mostly French-speaking province of Quebec, there is no minimum age to work. Only parental authorisation is required for those under 14 years old. "I wanted to work to stay busy in the summer and have a small part-time job, work hours here and there," Sofia-Rose tells AFP. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
