Description
A daily evacuation train from Pokrovsk, in the Donetsk region, takes people to the city of Lviv in western Ukraine. Most of the evacuees are elderly and disabled, forced to abandon their homes because of the increasingly heavy fighting in Donbas. Ekaterina, who left her home in the Donetsk region, says "it’s scary to live in your own home, I had to leave." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
