Description
Mohamed Elbaradei, the Director General Emeritus of the International Atomic Energy Agency and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate in 2005, says eliminating nuclear weapons "from the face of the earth is a moral duty before it is a solemn legal obligation," during the opening ceremony of the Vienna Conference on the Humanitarian Impact of Nuclear Weapons. The ceremony is taking place one day ahead of the first meeting of the Member States of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW). IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
