"Ever since I was a child, I liked to skateboard," says Willy Quispe, on the ramp he and his father built outside his house at the top of the Villa Maria del Triunfo, a crowded and poor district on the southern outskirts of Lima. The U-shaped ramp is 10 metres long and 4 metres wide and was built before the coronavirus outbreak. It is a dream come true for this modest skateboarder who loves the acrobatics that characterise this extreme sport.
