The work stoppage would have added to travel chaos in Europe where airports and airlines are struggling to fill jobs after laying off staff during the Covid pandemic, which wrecked the travel industry. SAS launched a restructuring plan in February after cutting thousands of jobs as it took a huge financial hit during the pandemic.
