Description
In the Mont Blanc massif, the Tête Rousse glacier is small but dangerous: after a deadly disaster in 1892, it is one of the most closely watched in the French Alps. When most of the neighboring glaciers are retreating under the effect of global warming, this one could be "cooling down", says the glaciologist Christian Vincent, talking of an "extremely paradoxical" process.
