Residents of the Complexo do Alemão favela in Rio de Janeiro carry corpses and an injured people out of the favela after at least four people were killed and four others arrested during a new police raid against organised crime gangs. In a joint operation, the elite corps of the Rio de Janeiro State Military Police (PMERJ) and the Civil Police entered with several armoured vehicles and a helicopter into the Complexo do Alemao (German's Complex), a large area of favelas in the north of Rio, to confront a gang dedicated to the robbery of cargo vehicles and banks.
