Argentina eases foreign currency payments for foreign tourists to avoid having to resort to the black market, where a run on the currency has increased the difference with the official US currency exchange rate to 150% in recent days. The Central Bank of Argentina will allow tourists to sell up to 5,000 dollars in institutions authorised to operate in the foreign exchange market, upon presentation of the documents used to enter the country.
