The festival of Behdienkhlam, which means 'chasing away the Demon of Cholera,' is the most celebrated cultural festival in India's Meghalaya state. Behdienkhlam is celebrated annually in July after the sowing period and is the most important dance festival of the Jaintia tribes. IMAGES
