Lawyers for US basketball star Brittney Griner standing trial in Russia on drug charges express their hope that she will receive a lenient sentence. The US Embassy Charge d'Affaires adds that two-time Olympic gold medallist told them she is doing "as well as can be expected under these circumstances".
