Description
In the village of Yulivka in the Zaporizhzhia Region of southeast Ukraine, workers sift through hundreds of tons of rapeseed grain to separate it from fragments of rockets, glass and concrete, after Russia hit three warehouses of Aleksandr-Agro 2 on the night of July 27. Aleksandr-Agro 2 is an agricultural company that has been growing seeds of oil cultures and beans for the past 15 years.
The company owner, Vasyl Kasyarun, confirms that there were no military objects nor equipment in the warehouses, which were filled with grains waiting to be sowed in autumn. A 25-year old employee, Vladyslav, walks barefoot in the seeds, picking up fragments buried within. The grain is then thoroughly sifted in order to be loaded as cargo the next day, for the customers already waiting for the shipment. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
