Chinese jets and what is believed to be a military vessel are seen from the shore of China's Pingtan, facing the Taiwan strait, as Beijing's largest-ever military exercises encircling Taiwan continues after a visit to the island by US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Taipei's military said Chinese fighter jets and ships crossed the "median line" that runs down the Taiwan Strait on Friday, calling Beijing's latest military drills "highly provocative". IMAGES
