A United Nations report published Thursday argues that an unprecedented array of crises, chiefly among them Covid-19, has set human progress back five years and fueled a global wave of uncertainty. "I'm intensely frustrated because at the moment of maximum need, the countries who can most afford to enable us to step up, many of them are actually stepping back," UNDP Chief Achim Steiner tells AFP.
