"We are making all these efforts, obviously to be the best, to be the fastest, to win medals, but it's also about rescuing people" reminds Julien Lalanne, French lifesaving specialist and head of lifeguards of Hossegor beaches. 700 athletes gather on the French Southwestern coast until Saturday to take part in the French surf lifesaving championships.
