Description
Visitors return to the Ipiringa Museum in Sao Paulo after nine years of closure for renovations. The renovation work, which cost some 235 million reais ($45.7M), has tripled the museum's surface area. One million people are expected to visit the museum each year. The Ipiranga Museum (officially, the Paulista Museum of the University of São Paulo) reopened with a ceremony only for the authorities and patrons of the State of Sao Paulo. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
