Several hundreds of young students demonstrate in central Santiago de Chile, demanding better public education, five days after the overwhelming rejection of the proposed new constitution on September 4. "Social awareness should not be lost, critical thinking should not be lost and these kids are demonstrating it. We adults are being taught how it should be and that's why I come here to give them all my support", says 50-year-old computer engineer Nelson Maureira. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
