For the lawyer of the plaintiffs, Antoine Casubolo Ferro, the appeal trial in Paris of the two defendants convicted in the initial trial after the attacks of January 2015 must allow justice to pass and to make it clear that "to judge well does not necessarily mean life imprisonment, it means: 'they were severely judged for what they did, because democracy is the rule of law, it is not a state of weakness'".
