At the G7 trade ministers' meeting in Neuhardenberg, Germany, EU Trade Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis explains in an interview that the European Commission is "ready to extend" the EU's trade liberalisation measure with Ukraine. This temporary trade liberalisation has been in force since June. The regulation provides that for one year import duties on Ukrainian exports to the EU will not be due.
