Several thousands of people, including members of the opposition Democratic Alliance (DA) party, take to the streets in Cape town and across South Africa to protest a prolonged energy crisis that has resulted in crippling power cuts. Demonstrators in Cape Town march towards the ANC offices to demand "realistic action".
