Moscow City Court hosts a hearing that orders the closure of Russia's oldest human rights organisation, the Moscow Helsinki Group. The group's lawyer in court, Genri Reznik, calls the decision, which is the latest in a series of legal rulings against organisations critical of the Kremlin, a "legal disgrace". The Moscow Helsinki Group was created in 1976 to monitor the Soviet authorities' commitment to respect human rights and fundamental freedoms and is considered to be Russia's oldest rights group. "Our legal efforts may be pretty much doomed to fail now" Reznik adds, but times change... these cases which have seen unlawful verdicts will be reconsidered." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
