For French-Palestinian lawyer Salah Hamouri, the quest to defend Palestinian human rights is not over. Hamouri was deported from Israel to France on December 18 and forbidden to return to Jerusalem, his hometown. "The most difficult day of my life" was "the day they took me out of my prison cell to deport me", recalls the 37-year-old, who has spent more than nine years of his life in Israeli prisons.
