The former Iranian prison official is sentenced to life behind bars for killing at least 5,000 prisoners at the end of the Iran-Iraq war of 1980-88. "The officials of the regime, who are now sending the protesters in the death row, in the gallows, are literally the very same people who killed 30.000 Mujahidins. This should come to an end" says Shahin Gobadi, one of the demonstrators protesting against the appeal.
