German Defence Minister Christine Lambrecht says Germany has not received a request from 'Poland or any other country' for the delivery of Leopard tanks to Ukraine. Chancellor Olaf Scholz has announced that his country will supply Marder infantry fighting vehicles and a Patriot air defence system to Ukraine but pressure is already growing on Scholz to go further and agree to the delivery of Leopard tanks after Poland said it was ready to supply Ukraine with the tanks but "within an international coalition".
