Activists urge an "immediate release of all political prisoners" in a rare, small protest outside a court ahead of the opening of Hong Kong's largest national security trial.
Former pro-democracy lawmakers are seen arriving for the trial, part of the group of 47 defendants accused of trying to topple the government and facing up to life in prison if convicted.
More than 100 people -- including diplomats from European Union states -- queued outside the court earlier in the hopes of seeing the trial begin.
