At least 12 people are dead following heavy floods triggered by heavy rains in South Africa. In the province of Mpumalanga,in the northeast of the country, one of the hardest hit, some areas remain inaccessible by road after bridges were washed away. "The situation is very bad, because now they were getting warnings about weather report that we can have more rains," says a representative from Gift of the Givers, an NGO working to deliver food parcels to people who have been cut-off by the flooding.
