Tens of thousands of Mexicans protest in Mexico City against an electoral reform passed by the ruling party-controlled Congress, which is widely perceived as an attack on democracy ahead of the 2024 presidential elections. Dressed in white and pink, the colours of the National Electoral Institute (INE), the protesters denounce the decision by the majority of President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador's supporters to reduce the size and budget of the independent body.
