When thousands of Georgians protested this week to demand a bill similar to controversial Kremlin legislation be scrapped, some Russian exiles joined the rallies that would be unthinkable in their homeland. Viktor, who fled Russia in the aftermath of its invasion of Ukraine, and his partner Bogdana, a Ukrainian living in Georgia, explain why they took part in the mass demonstrations.
