Description
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz hails the European Union's "stricter and clearer regulations" on the financial system, saying that it formed the foundation of the bloc's banking stability, providing assurances to the markets after shares in Deutsche Bank plunged. Speaking at an EU Council summit in Brussels, Scholz also comments on the China-Russia partnership, saying that until now there is no indication that Beijing has exported weapons to Moscow.
