Description
In Burkina Faso, citizens are speaking out after the ruling junta suspended all broadcasts by the France 24 news channel, following an interview with the head of Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), Abu Ubaydah Yusuf al-Annabi. Burkina Faso is battling a jihadist insurgency that spilled over from neighbouring Mali. "France 24, it's an obligation to suspend them and even suspend them for life in Burkino Faso. It's better," says Ousséni Nana, a Burkinabe citizen. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
