File images from Bucha, a Ukrainian town near Kyiv, ahead of the one-year anniversary of the discovery of civilian corpses that saw the town become a symbol of alleged Russian atrocities.
Russian troops are accused of killing hundreds of civilians there, shocking the world and prompting allegations of war crimes.
An AFP team on April 2, 2022, were the first journalists to discover the horrors of the quiet commuter town, after the Russians retreated from a month-long occupation. FILE IMAGES
