Crowds gather in the Place de la Bastille to cheer on runners taking part in the Paris Marathon. The jolly atmosphere sees spectators waving signs, ringing bells and shouting out words of encouragement. "You can see all kinds of people; women, men, and all kinds of older people, even people with disabilities," says one woman who has come to cheer on relatives.
