The White House stands by the FDA’s approval of mifepristone, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tells reporters after a US judicial ruling outlawed the leading abortion pill. "We are prepared for a long legal fight," she adds during a press briefing which also includes John Kirby, White House National Security Council spokesman. Kirby tells reporters the Department of Defense is leading the effort to study "the veracity and the validity" of recently leaked classified documents.
