Hundreds of ultra-Catholic men gather every month in main squares across Croatia, including in the capital Zagreb, to kneel in prayer for the modesty of women, the bolstering of patriarchal authority and a ban on abortions. But the views held by the 'Be Manly' group -- often referred to as "the kneelers" -- have crossed the line for many in the staunchly Catholic nation, with critics gathering to denounce what they call an outpouring of intolerance aimed at restricting women's rights.
