Regiments from the British armed forces march towards Buckingham Palace to take part in a ceremony during which they officially received their new colours and standards from King Charles III, featuring the new king's cypher and crown that will be borne on upcoming ceremonial events, including the king's coronation on May 6. The Royal Navy, the Life Guards of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment, The King’s Company of the Grenadier Guards and The King’s Colour Squadron of the Royal Air Force were all recipients.
