Armenian foreign minister Ararat Mirzoyan says "there is no difference between platforms" for negotiations on an Armenia-Azerbaijan settlement. Speaking at a press conference after talks with his French counterpart Catherine Colonna, Mirzoyan adds that Armenia is "grateful to all (...) that provide a platform."
Armenia and Azerbaijan have fought two wars over the mountainous enclave of Karabakh. Moscow brokered a ceasefire after the latest bout of fighting in 2020. With Moscow bogged down in Ukraine and unwilling to strain ties with Azerbaijan's key ally Turkey, the United States and European Union have sought to steer a thaw in ties. SOUNDBITES
