Well before dawn, evacuees quietly line up on a dock in Port Sudan, which has so far been untouched by the fighting between the army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), to board a boat that will transport them out to a 102-metre-long warship as they make the long and tedious journey to the Red Sea coastal city of Jeddah.
