Thousands of union workers from across Taiwan walk the streets in protest of low minimum wages and pension plans. The island's unions blamed the government for its failed policies and President Tsai Ing-wen's inability to keep her promise. "If the government continues like this, we will - together with every worker on the island - use our votes to prove the (government’s) policies are wrong," a local union leader says as the island's residents prepare to head to the polls next January.
