In the middle of the river that separates Mexico and the United States, close to 150 migrant families symbolically tore down the fortified binational border this Saturday to embrace for six minutes, in the annual event "Abrazos No Muros" (Hugs Not Walls). For more than four hours, Border Patrol agents from the El Paso sector, a neighboring U.S. city to Mexico's Ciudad Juarez, withdrew and watched from afar the event organized by the U.S.-based Border Network for Human Rights. "I live here in Ciudad Juarez, I came to see my father, I hadn't seen him for 23 years, I was about eight months old when he had to leave for there," said Ureil Zaragoza. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
