South African taxidermists are worried that legislation banning imports of hunting trophies to Britain might affect their business. Trophy hunting -- where hunters sometimes pay thousands of dollars for the right to kill usually big game animals like elephants and lions -- has long been controversial. Proponents contend that killing off a small number of selected species generates much needed income to boost conservation efforts and support local communities.
