Description
Residents of Santiago Xalitzintla and San Nicolas de los Ranchos, in central Mexico, try to continue their daily activities as Popocatepetl, considered one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world, spews gas and ash into the sky. "Even roofs were shaking, they were lifting up (due to volcanic activity)," says Raymundo Mena as he sweeps ash from the floor, while authorities maintain their warning level at one step below red alert.
