People protest against Peruvian President Dina Boluarte in front of the prosecutor's office in Lima, as she is questioned over the death of anti-government protesters since nationwide clashes started in December 2022 following an attempted coup by former President Pedro Castillo. Peru has been embroiled in a political crisis since Castillo was ousted and arrested on December 7, charged with rebellion for trying to dissolve congress and rule by decree.
