Description
The Prefect of the Charente-Maritime region comes to assess the damage caused by last night's earthquake in La Laigne and the surrounding area. Cracked houses, damaged churches, residents needing to be rehoused: the damage is being assessed on Saturday in eastern Charente-Maritime and southern Deux-Sèvres, at the epicenter of a "very strong" earthquake felt on Friday from Rennes to Bordeaux, without causing any casualties.
