Description
Notre-Dame de Paris, which was partially destroyed in a fire in 2019, is regaining an essential part of its framework; the first of the three "trusses" that make up its skeleton. This is an important stage in the reconstruction, which should enable Parisians to see "the silhouette of the cathedral with its spire in the Paris skyline again by the end of the year", says General Georgelin, who leads the public institution responsible for the reconstruction project.
