Spanish legislation aiming to combat gender violence has undermined men's due process rights, says Santiago Abascal, the leader of the far-right Vox party, on the sidelines of a campaign rally in Valencia. "Equality is a constitutional right, and there cannot be a ministry that does not take equality into account in all its meanings -- between man and woman, equality of all Spaniards before the law, which is undermined by gender violence legislation that has abolished presumption of innocence for men and has created special courts," Abascal tells reporters.
