A beloved monument to Ethiopia's traditional cabaret culture, the historic nightclub Fendika in Addis Ababa, escapes demolition. Fendika is the last of 17 Azmari Bets (a venue hosting performances by Ethiopia's azmari musicians) in the Kazanchis district.
