Description
A Senegalese government spokesman justifies the lifting of security around the Dakar home of Senegalese opponent Ousmane Sonko, a candidate in the 2024 presidential election, by the end of his "calls for insurrection". According to Abdou Karim Fofana, the measure has been lifted "because the risk does not exist". The spokesman also commented on the number of would-be illegal immigrants arrested by the police.
