From August 29, ULEZ -- a tax that has applied since 2019 to the most polluting vehicles in London's central districts -- will apply throughout all of Greater London. Charging a daily fee of £12.50 (€14.60), the decision has been poorly received by some motorists at a time when inflation continues to undermine Britain's purchasing power, but welcomed by those campaigning against air pollution.
