Description
The Venice Film Festival celebrates its 80th edition from August 30, but a Hollywood strike means many stars may be missing, leaving the spotlight to controversial directors like Roman Polanski and Woody Allen. Festival director Alberto Barbera insists that that the strike's impact on the festival "will be very limited," despite Luca Guadagnino's "The Challengers" being pulled from its opening spot as a result.
